hi this may be a lil controversial but… when ppl tell me i’m not the center of the universe i always disagree. each person exists in their own reality n each reality coexists in the universe n in some realities u believe that there are other versions of the universe apart from the “genuine one” bc its how you individually perceive it so if speaking, u believe in another personal perception of the universe apart from the “genuine” u can choose to be n ARE the center of that universe. & since ding ding ding that perception coexists in the universe… ur perception is valid so anyone telling u that u arent the center of the universe is well wrong. it’s all abt personal belief n YOUR understanding abt the universe… not anyone else’s. the reason this can be often misconstrued is bc this phrase is associated w hurtful connotations. that your “self” or really ego is so overpowering that it shadows others, but on purpose w negative narcissistic notions. what i mean is that you ARE the center of the universe, but that doesn’t give u the excuse 2 make other ppl feel smaller. just bc ur the center in ur own universe doesnt mean that the other person believes in ur specific perception. to stay away from power struggles we must treat eachother all w respect bc we all possess different degrees of power. not more not less just different.
